Terrewode Maternity

Since opening its doors in Soroti in 2019, Terrewode Women’s Community Hospital has helped more than 1,800 women and girls heal from fistula and other devastating childbirth injuries.

Through comprehensive treatment, rehabilitation, and compassionate care, women have been given the opportunity to reclaim their health, rebuild their lives, and look toward the future with hope. It’s time to build on this progress and take a bold step toward transforming maternal healthcare in Eastern Uganda. It’s time to build Terrewode Maternity and address the critical lack of accessible, high quality maternity care, helping prevent fistula before it occurs.
